For PenFed Credit Union's 2019 cohort of summer interns, we were given the project of revamping their student loan refinancing project. My team was in charge of technology, and more specifically I, and a fellow intern, focused on the UI/UX of the student loan refinancing as a whole. The goals for the project were to create a more relatable, user-friendly product which is appealing to our target audience of college graduates with loans between the ages of 24 to 35. The exec team loved our final presentation, and we hope to see our project implemented within the next year.

 We started with user testing and the insights we found are summarized below.

We then created a mobile app dashboard for managing student loans, a new application form, a new student loan refinancing website, and a short quiz for finding loan rates.
